Race Report - Mitch Wayt #16A wins 2016 QPWC Redcliffe Cup Round 1

On November 6th 2016, the reigning Australian Champion Mitch Wayt #16A, won the first round of the Redcliffe Cup in the Pro-Stock Class against some of Australia's best riders. 

A new track layout featuring a half-course split, attracted a strong attendance of 70 competitors for the 1st round of the Redcliffe Cup.

#16 Wayt took to the water on his 2016 FZR SVHO in the Stock Runabout Closed-Circuit Pro-Class. #16 Wayt started off the day on the back foot, with a solid 3rd place in the first moto.
However, #16 Wayt was able to recover, bouncing back in moto 2 to claim the win after an impressive start. Moto 3 was equally impressive with a blistering start and some fast laps to hold off the quick competition to claim enough points overall to win the class.
